Which One is Harder?, To love or to be loved?

Apparently, loving a person is determined by your heart. The heart is as complicated as love, to the fact that it may end up as a mystery if you try to fully understand it. It determines what your feelings are, your emotions, your everything. Loving a person is hard because your heart may not love a person, and it is very difficult to fight it. You will choose what you want. If you do already love a person, then that means that your heart said, "yes."

However, to be loved is extremely difficult if you have no idea what to do, let alone love the person who doesn't even know you exist. You will have to do a lot of things to get that person's eyes to look at you, that person's heart to feel that you are there.

Another thing that's hard here is that there are many factors to consider if you want to be loved. Some people look at the physical appearance, some mental, some the person's sex appeal and some look at the overall emotional stability of the person. What if you have the quality that the person you wish to love you hate? That can be hard to overcome...

I believe that you guys have an exactly answer of my question.I will give you a clue to help you all.

First, we must look at the question, to understand the question is one of the most important factors of producing an answer. Lets begin with the first few words...

What do you think..."

This refers to YOUR opinion, DON'T TAKE IT FROM ANY SOURCES.

(I am referring to romantic love which you are most likely trying to pinpoint) I will be dividing this part into two sections:

1. Loving someone is hard if you don't let the person know how you feel. If you let the person know how you feel, convincing the other people to love you back might be hard, but remember convincing others to love back is not equivalent to loving someone! Expecting too much from others can only cause pain in the end. If you love someone, try not to expect anything, because if you do that then you are inviting potentially deadly selfishness, jealousy, bitterness and anguish. If your love is pure, you can only give the best for the other person, and that is his/her freedom to choose. (I think this is equivalent to the popular connotation of "letting go")

2. Being loved is hard if you don't know how the other person feels, or particularly if this other person does not let his/her feelings known. Always keep in mind that we have our free will - and that includes the free will to romantically love someone or not! However do not exude rejection even if you dislike the other person because this will cause hurt, especially if the other party expects a lot. Respect their feelings. And finally, let them know how you feel about it. Talk it over, negotiate. It is possible to love someone without being romantic.

LESSONS TO LEARN:
1. Don't expect too much. Love others, and love yourself too. Even if others don't love back, at least you know that you have done something for yourself.
2. Silence is NEVER a solution to anything. Talk. Listen. Let others know how you feel. Understand how others feel. What happen because the two sides refuse to talk and listen to each other.

So, according to my passage, I leave this question for you, my dear fellow dudes/sis. Which one is HARDER?
